About IDEA

I.D.E.A. started as an Agency in The Netherlands in 1994 to exchange good working experiences and inspiration to young people from The Netherlands, by advising and eventually organizing internships in India, hands-on-training and life-long-learning opportunities.

The good experiences came from a 3 month long program in 1987 and regular visit as a tourist from 1994 onwards combined with guiding groups of Professors and students from Universities and Trainers for Skill Development

With a good orientation journey in 2010 for Teachers and Policy makers for Skill Development and a very good Pilot program in 2011 put up by two Colleges, the interest of policy makers is growing and the future a bit more bright.

Based on a MoU with Ramanata Crisna Pai Raiker Agrischool and Mineral Foundation of Goa we now can organize regular placements for Research programs in Food Technology and student Internship programs for students from Skill Development.

We recently signed an agreement with Takshinda Foundation for the development of Skill Universities where the competence based and practice oriented training of students in Skills from 10^th standard to Master (Ms) will take place at one institute. For further info on this go to www.takshinda.org

Create an opportunity for the Exchange of Knowledge in Skills through Train the Trainer programs, Research programs and Internships to Indian organizations and Education Institutes and visa versa.

Groups of students in Skill Development Training under supervision (on location) by their teachers engage in exchanging their knowledge and training with students / workers in India.

Undergraduate or/and Master students from The Netherlands can have their internship / research in addition to such a program to secure the continuity of imparting knowledge and skill aspects. If needed we mediate for students from India who would like to study in The Netherlands.

This should lead to capacity building in Institutes in both countries which garanties to level of Exchange.
